I wonder will I ever win

Or will my ticket go in the bin

It isn't millions I am hoping for,

Just a few thousand to stop

My life from being a bore.

I could do special things

That I have always wanted to do

Perhaps a round of golf

With `you know who'

Or go to the races

And be seated near the Royals

Chatting to them with no

`airs or graces'

Oh! I nearly forgot to say

I don't think I would be

Giving any winnings away

So if any luck from the Lottery

Should come true

It might change me completely

And I am not going to be

The same nice person you once knew!
