More than 2,300 Boro fans are flying from Teesside for the final - all taking off within two hours of each other on the morning of the big match.

Airport staff today urged passengers to be on time and to inform them of the likely demand for car parking spaces. There are 13 flights chartered.

The airport is asking supporters to let them know how they will be getting there. If they are travelling by car, they want to know if fans will be parking or being dropped off, and how many passengers will be in their party.

Passengers can do this by visiting the airport's website at www.teessideairport.com and following the instructions from the pop-up window.

Mark Clarkson from Teesside Airport said: "If they can get here two and a half hours before, that would be great because it's probably going to be our busiest time ever."

Meanwhile, fans who applied by post for cup final tickets should receive them in the next few days. …
