NEON 2004, which takes place at the Metro Radio Arena on March 24 and 25, will provide North-East businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase breaking technology and provide a forum for business leaders to explore new methods and concepts.

Advice and information will be available on new communication methods, ways to reduce overheads and improve productivity as well as the potential opportunities available by fully exploiting the Internet and e-business.

The exhibition has attracted support from Business Link, UK Online for Business and major players such as Microsoft and Onyx as well as many of the North-East's top web design, hosting and e-marketing companies.

Organiser Rob Poat said: "It's a great opportunity for the region's business leaders to network, meet new contacts and find that crucial edge which will give them an advantage over their competitors.

"We have got all the experts under one roof and dozens of seminars and interactive training workshops."

Software giant Microsoft will be using NEON as an opportunity to talk to the North East's business leaders about the benefits of efficient communication.

The company has voiced concerns over the lack of investment in specific Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), which use simple methods of shared information to improve relationships with both staff and clients. …
