Coca-cola has postponed the re-introduction of Dasani bottled water into the UK market.

Last week the firm withdrew all bottles from sale after levels of bromate were found to exceed UK legal standards.

A statement from the company said: "Following the voluntary withdrawal in Great Britain last week of Dasani due to a quality issue, it has decided not to re-introduce Dasani into Great Britain at this time."

It added: "For the present, Coca-Cola Great Britain will focus on its existing brands and will continue to innovate across all of the beverage categories."

Unlikely help
