Julio Arca feels Sunderland have already moved on after their FA Cup semi-final defeat, with promotion now their only goal, (writes JAMES HUNTER).

The Black Cats made it clear all along that their FA Cup run was a bonus and regaining their Premiership status was the No 1 priority, but the defeat against Millwall at Old Trafford last Sunday means that it is now their only hope.

Sunderland are still in the running for an automatic promotion place but to secure a top-two berth, they will have to catch either Norwich or West Brom.

Mick McCarthy's men maintained the pressure with a 3-0 victory at home to Sheffield United yesterday, following hard on the heels of their win at Wimbledon three days earlier.

But even if Sunderland fall short of automatic promotion, they could still go up through the play-offs.

Arca said: "The cup is over for us and we must forget about it and try to win in the league, although that is easier said than done. …
