Easter egg hunt and egg and spoon races at Bolam Lake country park, near Belsay, 10.30am. Children u2.

Easter eggs extravaganza at Plessey Woods country park near Bedlington, 10.30am. Includes boolin' and jarpin, hunt the egg, three-legged egg and spoon races and prize for best decorated egg. u1.50 per child.

`Eggstraordinary' Easter fun at Wallington Old Hall, Cambo, from 11am-3.30pm. Follow clues through the woods to get a chocolate reward, and decorate eggs to get prizes. Entry u1.50 plus normal admission.

Cut, stick and paint Easter eggs at the Lamplight Arts Centre in Stanley, and Consett Civic Hall. From 10.30am-12 noon. Entry is u2 for ages four to 11.
