Little Joe Cooperthwaite will be teeing off and improving his swing as soon as golf enthusiast dad Paul can get him on a course.

Born on May 11, baby Joe has only been home four days but has already settled in well and mum Kelly O'Donnell is finding it easy to relax.

She said: "I really didn't know what to expect when I brought Joe home but so far it's all been fine and he's been no bother.

"After getting out of hospital it has been really nice to be home and to be able to relax.

"Paul is really pleased to have him home too and he is already talking about getting him on the golf course as soon as he is old enough."

Joe is the first child for both Kelly, 25, and Paul, 26, from West Denton, as well as the first grandchild for Paul's parents, Joan and Bob, and Kelly's parents, Steve and Margy.

Former hairdresser Kelly said: "Both sets of Joe's grandparents are over the moon and my mum has been round all the time and they take turns to help out. …
