Police are searching for a man who stole about $350 from a friend early Sunday in an apartment at 2600 Art Museum Drive.

Police said the two men had been out drinking earlier in the evening, and went to the victim's apartment to continue partying, police said. The 39-year-old victim said he passed out, and awoke to see a man standing over him demanding money. When the victim refused, the other man shoved his face into the floor and stole the wallet. The victim got it back. But when he woke up later Sunday, he found the wallet was empty, police said.

Meanwhile, a 34-year-old Southside man said he was robbed around 2:50 a.m. Sunday when he opened the door to his room at a motel at 3558 Philips Highway and was robbed by two intruders, police said.

The victim told police he was with a friend when he looked out the window and saw a woman there. When he opened the door, two men rushed in and demanded money, one saying he had a gun as he grabbed at something in his waistband. The victim pointed to his wallet on a table, and the intruders grabbed it and ran. The victim ran after the pair and was punched in the left eye before they drove off in a silver car, police said.

An 18-year-old Northside man was arrested Tuesday on charges of armed robbery and auto theft, after three men robbed the Subway sandwich shop at 6024 San Jose Blvd. on April 4 and stole the cashier's car, police said.

Police said three men walked into the business at 4:50 p.m. April 4. One pulled out a silver handgun and demanded cash and the employee's car keys. Police investigating another case May 7 learned more about one of the possible suspects, and included his photograph in a lineup for the Subway employee early Thursday, police said. The victim picked him out, and the man was arrested at 3:40 p.m., police said.

Following are the crimes and other incidents reported recently in the Southside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office:
