With three winners in the past four days, the Denton, near Darlington stable of Michael Dods has hit form and it could be on the mark again with Jedeydd in the Minster Enclosure Handicap at Beverley today.

Bought out of Ben Hanbury's yard for 13,000 guineas after winning a Yarmouth maiden as a two-year-old and a Leicester handicap the following year, the gelding hasn't managed to add to his tally for his current connections.

According to Dods, the horse went to pieces last year but when they eventually tried him in a tongue strap at Carlisle he wasn't disgraced when seventh of 20 to Chairman Bobby from an unfavourable draw and after missing the break.

His last effort at today's venue offered some encouragement when he finished fourth to Prince Of Gold.

Jakeal has possibilities while Mallard showed more than enough on his reappearance at Newcastle when third to Goodbye Mr Bond to suggest he can win on turf.

Indian Solitaire is worth watching in the totequadpot Handicap and has the ability to win a prize of this nature. …
