Matt Goss: The early side of later

This ex-pop favourite from Bros was described as the dark horse of Hell's Kitchen. He may be a dark horse, but he has the voice of an angel.

This is Matt Goss's first single in a while, and it is a world away from what he used to sing in Bros. The album is much gentler, without a fast track on it. Like Peter Andre, Matt is obviously using his role in a reality TV show to try to take the charts by storm again, but he isn't rushing in with guns ablaze. He has started of with something fairly soft and neutral.

Matt's voice is soulful and soft in throughout, and it really suits him. However, unless you really, really like these songs, they can get really boring after a couple tracks. Matt is starting afresh, and has no old Bros songs on his album, which I admire him for. It mustn't be easy striking out with something totally new.

I don't think many teens today will buy this album as some don't even know who he is. …
