Wing Collar can finally get a win on the board in the Formica Surfacing Your World Handicap at Redcar tomorrow.

The In The Wings gelding has been knocking on the door on his last three runs and he found one too good again last time when Prenup beat him six lengths at Beverley.

Despite the winning distance it was not a bad run from Wing Collar as he was giving 4lb to a progressive sort and the race really was not run to suit him.

He was hampered five furlongs out and stayed on admirably but the winner had flown.

Wolf Hammer looks an interesting runner for Howard Johnson in the European Breeders Fund Maiden Stakes.

Johnson is predominately a jumps trainer but he has been enjoying some Flat success with a couple of big-money recruits to Graham and Andrea Wylie's string.
