Glory goes to Kingston Park in the climax of our aquatic schools competition

Success came with a splash for the winners of this year's Its a Knockout competition.

Champion school Kingston Park Primary School were a clear 10 points ahead of their closest rivals to take the top prize.

The lucky pupils have won a day out at Lightwater Valley for their whole school thanks to their swift swimming skills.

The final took place at The Outer West Swimming Pool, Denton Burn, Newcastle, yesterday.

Screams and shouts of laughter and excitement filled the pool as the four best teams in the competition fought to win the Its a Knockout Trophy.

Kingston Park Primary School took first place with 66 points. In second place, with 56 points, was St Oswald's Primary School.

In joint third place, with 48 points, was Forest Hall Primary School and Ravenswood Primary School. In fourth place, with 30 points, was St Charles Primary School. …
