SOME men have all the luck. Having already won a competition to watch cricket and enjoy free beer and pizza reclining on comfortable chairs with five friends, things got even better for Alex Waite.

As the batsman hit a towering six, Mr Waite somehow managed to hoist himself out of his seat and make it to the boundary to catch the ball. His prize - a year's supply of beer.

"Talk about jammy," said the 25-year-old sales rep from Leicester. "I won the competition to sit just off the pitch by answering a question in my local paper and me and my friends had had a great night.

"We knew there was a prize of free beer for anybody catching the ball - we had been talking about it all night. So when I saw the ball was going to clear the fielder, I started sprinting to get behind it. …
