A car bomb exploded near police and government buildings in the western Iraqi city of Haditha today, killing three police officers.

A second car bomb exploded in the Iraqi city of Karbala today, killing two people in the car.

The blasts follow a suicide car bomb attack in Baghdad yesterday when 11 people were killed and at least 40 wounded.

CLEVER children may be less likely to go on to develop serious disease in later life compared with their less intelligent peers, US research suggested today.
