Police Briefs; Brewster Road Man Says 2 Pointed Rifles at Him

Police are looking for two men who pointed rifles Sunday night at a man standing on his porch in the 1800 block of Brewster Road.

Police said a dark-colored Dodge Intrepid rolled up to the 20-year-old man's house about 6:07 p.m. with four men inside, and two got out, one with what looked like a bullet wound to his shoulder. They pointed the rifles at the man and ordered him to get dressed so he could show them "who shot their boy," according to the police report. But the quartet drove off without another word, police said.

Police didn't find any blood stains or shell casings at the Southside site. But officers did get a call that a man had just walked into Baptist Medical Center with a gunshot wound, saying he had been shot on the Northside near 45th Street, police said. The 21-year-old Arlington man said he didn't know who shot him and didn't need a police report. But police recorded him as a potential victim on the original aggravated assault report. …
