SVEN-GORAN Eriksson is facing a new crisis as his ex-lover Faria Alam is poised to sell her story for [pounds sterling]1 million.

Ms Alam, 38, has already rocked the Football Association by having a fling with FA chief executive Mark Palios, 52, before her relationship with the England coach.

Now football's governing body is braced for fresh embarrassment after the Evening Standard learned that Ms Alam has boasted of an intimate relationship with a third FA executive.

The development comes as 56-year-old Eriksson faces an investigation into whether he lied over his affair with Ms Alam, a secretary at the FA.

She showed intimate text messages purporting to be from the man, who is as yet unnamed.

Speaking as she sipped champagne in a restaurant, she said: "He does like me a lot and I think things could happen between us. He is falling for me and I am crazy about him too. He is such a nice guy, so sweet and has a lovely smile." The messages each ended with an "X" for a kiss.

The unmarried man was a key strategist at the FA headquarters at Soho Square and came into close contact with Ms Alam through his work. He has since since left the FA. Ms Alam disclosed the contents of the texts during a night out at London's Cinnamon Club restaurant. …
