If the Pro Bowl were tomorrow, Jaguars punter Chris Hanson would be going back to Honolulu for the second time since 2002 based on how he is kicking in training camp. Hanson had another strong day of practice on Friday, repeatedly booming high, arcing punts in the morning workout, then followed with a 65-yard blast in the evening scrimmage. Hanson's ax-inflicted leg injury last October now seems like an ancient memory.

THUMBS DOWN

Tight end Kyle Brady's role in the offense was reduced last season, in part because he had trouble with drops. That problem doesn't appear to have been fixed in the offseason. Brady mishandled several passes in the first week of camp, then made a glaring drop of a Byron Leftwich throw early in Friday night's scrimmage. At this rate, Todd Yoder and George Wrighster might get more playing time at Brady's expense.
