A BRITISH man has been suspended from his job at Walt Disney World after allegedly shoving people while dressed as Goofy.

Michael Chartrand, 36, was relieved of his duties by the Florida theme park after two photographers claimed he pushed them in the chest.

Chartrand's lawyer, Jeffrey Kaufman, denied the claims, saying: "Of course he was just goofing around because he was Goofy." Howeve r, Chartrand has been in trouble at the park on a previous occasion, when he was accused of fondling a 13-year-old girl while dressed as Tigger.

He was originally suspended but later acquitted of that charge by a jury and allowed to return to work at the park in Orlando early last month.

Now, the two photographers - a man and a woman - who work for Kodak at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the park are claiming Chartrand went up to them in his Goofy costume and shoved each of them in the chest.

D i s ney spoke swoman Jacquee Polak said Chartrand has been suspended and will remain so indefinitely. …
