Durham County FA is looking to provide opportunities for all boys and girls teams at under-eight, nine and 10 to join a new indoor mini-soccer league at Soccarena, Durham.

The purpose of the league is to provide opportunities for teams looking to introduce mini-soccer for their younger teams and the emphasis will be on fun rather than ability.

The under-eight age group will participate within a friendly league where no scores will be taken and each child will receive a league certificate and gift.

All leagues will play on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm and will be administered with the support of Durham County FA and officiated by qualified referees.

It is hoped these leagues will commence in January 2005 and anyone interested in entering a team should contact Sheila Jevons, Women & Girls Football Development Officer at Durham FA on (0191) 384 7006 or e-mail
