Trainee health visitor Sarah Hutchinson, of Heaton, admits that although her house has a lot of TVs, husband Dave and her three children Megan, 11, Joe, nine and eighteen-month-old Maifie are very specific about what they watch. She tells us about her family's viewing habits.

What are your earliest childhood TV memories?

I remember programmes like Bill and Ben and Rainbow. I wish that they had been on for the two older ones when they were little.

How many TVs are there in your household?

We have one in Megan's room, one in Joe's, one in our bedroom and one in the sitting room. Kids love to have their own TVs, as it means they can choose their own programmes rather than being stuck with adult TV.

What do you like to watch?

I like the programmes that feature health issues, as I have worked in this area for many years now. …
