Here come the cows. And the Ferris wheels and the cotton candy and the Spam cooking competitions and the racing pigs and the guy with bees covering his face.

Must be fair time. The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair moves into town next week, setting up at the Jacksonville Expo Center at the Fairgrounds next to Alltel Stadium Wednesday through Sunday, Nov. 14.

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and kids under 13. Kids under 6 are admitted free. For information, call (904) 353-0535 or visit www.jacksonvillefair.com.

Gates open: 5-11 p.m.

Cost: $1 admission, $1 mechanical rides.
