Vauxhall has introduced a special edition of its Corsa supermini, based on the SXi three-door model, at pounds 10,995.

Powered by the 1.4-litre, 16-valve Twinport petrol engine, it has a top speed of 110mph and a 0-60mph acceleration time of 10.5 seconds.

In addition to standard SXi specification, the Exclusiv has sportier styling, with 16-inch, nine-spoke alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, sporty front bumper and side skirts.

There is also charcoal leather trim, climate control and an alarm. This little lot adds up to about pounds 2,900 of additional equipment over the SXi.

It is available in Flame Red, or optional Black Sapphire or Star Silver for an extra pounds 325. Production is limited to just 500 cars.
