That's What Friends Are for; Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy Join Jay-Z's Tour

Maybe it's only right that Mary J. Blige has joined Jay-Z's tour. After all, she's the one who sobs through the lines of her hit No More Drama.

And this tour, man, it's been all about drama. The rumors of animosity between Jay-Z and R. Kelly started early on. There was a batch of cancellations, and it all culminated at a show in New York last week. Kelly stepped off the stage because he said he saw a gun. Security said otherwise. And right before Kelly retook the stage, he was sprayed with pepper spray by a member of Jay-Z's entourage.

That same day, Kelly was kicked off the tour, and Monday, he filed a $75 million suit against Jay-Z and the promoter.

Jay-Z, who is vying for the president position at Def Jam, called out some friends, and now the tour, which stops in Jacksonville Sunday, is being co-headlined by P. Diddy and Blige.

The tour, now dubbed Jay-Z and Friends, was supposed to be a continuation of what Jay-Z and R. Kelly started in 2002, when they released a joint album called The Best of Both Worlds. …
