There were four hat-tricks scored on Saturday, two in each Division.

In Division One, Trevor Ford of Willington Quay Saints rolled back the years with three of his side's goals in a 4-2 win over Fitzgeralds Whitley Bay.

Mark Henderson joined the veteran on the score sheet, while Femi Akinbolu and Lee Hall scored for Fitzy.

Another Ford, this time Paul Redford of The Bush Wallsend, scored three in a 4-2 win over Lindisfarne Athletic. Kieran Fitzpatrick was also on target for The Bush with Steve Robinson and Ian McKenzie notching for the Lindy.

Hexhamshire gained their first points with a 2-1 home win over Newcastle Medicals. Martin Barnes and Mark Innes were the scorers with Matt Kennedy replying for the Medics.

Newcastle University A played host to Winlaton Vulcan Inn but neither could find the net.

Garnett Bohemians Reserves enjoyed their trip home from Bellingham with a 1-0 win.
