Police Briefs; 3 Charged with Drug Trafficking Police: Cocaine Found at House

Three men -- 43, 42 and 18 -- were arrested at 9:15 p.m. Sunday at a house in the 9700 block of W. Aberdare Avenue and charged with trafficking in cocaine.

Police said they were executing a narcotics search on the house when they found a large amount of crack and powder cocaine.

Police said they also found a large amount of cash, a rifle, a handgun and a lot of drug paraphernalia. The youngest suspect also possessed marijuana, according to a police report.

Two suspects were arrested in front of the house and the third suspect was found hiding in a bedroom closet and arrested, police said.

The youngest suspect, who lives at the house, told police the marijuana was his but that he knew nothing about the cocaine, money or drugs, the report said.
