Final Centre North-East Tenants Move In

the towering Centre North-East in Middlesbrough is now officially fully occupied. The owner of the landmark building, Marchday, this week completed the final letting in the 17-storey building.

Two new tenants will join established occupants including Garlands Call Centres, Walkabout Inns and Middlesbrough Town Centre Company.

The National Probation Service has taken part of the fifth and sixth floors as part of the restructuring of their administrative department. Erimus Housing, a non-profit organisation which has taken over the management of Middlesbrough Council's housing stock, has moved into the fourth and seventh floors.

Since 2000, Marchday has carried out a pounds 4m refurbishment of the building which has also been turned into a landmark for miles around when the developer commissioned an artist to illuminate the outside with rose coloured lights. Marchday will continue to support art projects within the community and plans are already under way for future commissions. …
