GRAPHIC APPROACH and Finely Tuned look the two best bets at Hereford today.

Charlie Egerton has always rated Graphic Approach highly and this good-looking King's Ride gelding has plenty going for him on his chasing debut.

Firstly, he showed bags of promise as a novice hurdler. Secondly, he has AP McCoy aboard. And thirdly, Graphic Approach comes from a yard in peak form with four winners from their last eight runners. In short, he looks bound to be hard to beat in the 1.00.

Mark Pitman's Finely Tuned lines up for the opener at 12.30 on the back of a highly creditable effort behind Marcel at Windsor.

Granted, he may well face a useful rival in the ex-French Star de Mohaison, who cost connections 170,000 guineas after a win at Auteuil in November, but Finely Tuned looks the value bet.

Meanwhile, Noel Meade will bid to continue his fine run with his British raiders at Sandown this weekend if the exciting Wild Passion shines in a gallop later today. …
