A Dad has locked horns with an infant school after a teacher stamped an ink star on his son's face as a reward for good behaviour.
Outraged Peter Guest, said the star on six-year-old Morgan's face was "insulting".
School chiefs defended the teacher's actions, saying the reward scheme was a way of motivating children, and at no point was it meant to offend.
The star was given in class by a teacher for Morgan's good behaviour at Roseberry Infant School, Billingham.
Previously a stamp had been put on Morgan's hands as a reward.
But the stamp on his son's face upset Mr Guest, 37, who is now calling for the practice to be stopped.
He said: "I picked my son up at 3pm and the teacher had put a blue stamp on his face.
"She classed it as an award, but to me I think it's insulting. …
