ANDY JOHNSON admits he will be forced to consider his options if Crystal Palace are relegated.

Johnson, the Premiership's leading scorer with 18 goals, has been linked with a number of major clubs, from a longstanding connection with Liverpool to Juventus.

The 23-year-old has always maintained complete commitment to Palace and hopes to be playing Premiership football at Selhurst Park next season.

But should the worst happen Johnson (right) conceded his need for topflight football might force him to move on. "At this moment in time it would be very hard to leave a gaffer like Iain Dowie. He has done so much for me and I am learning every single day," he said. "I think everyone is ambitious. If we go down I am obviously going to want to play in the Premier League but my first thought will be that it is my job to get the club straight back up if I am still here.

"We've got enough in this team to stay up and I am sure everyone here will be playing Premiership football next season. …
