I am writing to say a very big thank you to our street wardens.

I was one of the real Boro fans who turned up for the match against Grazer, not I might add one of the fans who complain about not getting tickets for cup finals but never turn up for other games.

The reason I would like to thank the wardens, though, is because I decided to take my son to the game and, while driving there, he must have wound the back window down without my knowing.

I parked my car on the market square in North Ormesby and left to go to the match.

During the half-time interval I heard the stadium tannoy system give my car registration out and ask me to contact the wardens, which I did.

They informed me that my car had been left unsecured but not to worry, nothing had happened to it and if I wanted to stay for the game they would keep an eye on it. …
