Where do you live?

On the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

How long have you lived there?

Fifteen years. I was born in New York City, but I grew up in Darien, Connecticut - a small town about 45 minutes from NYC, where Gus Van Sant and Chloe Sevigny were also raised.

What was the last play you saw in London and did you enjoy it?

I've never actually seen a play in London- But the last play that I saw in New York and loved was Long Day's Journey Into Night with Vanessa Redgrave.

What do you miss most when you are out of London?

The architecture.

What are your extravagances?

Hiring a driver when going out at night.

What advice would you give to a tourist?

Focus on museums - the V&A in particular - and London's varied neighbourhoods.
