AUDLEY HARRISON hauled his boxing career back on track today when he stopped American journeyman Robert Davis in the seventh round of their fight in Temecula, near Los Angeles.

It was Harrison's first bout for a year, the 2000 Olympic gold medallist having undergone surgery on a finger injury after recording his 17th career win against Tomasz Bonin last June.

He quickly brushed the cobwebs away by dropping Davis in the first round and was in control until the referee stopped the fight.

Harrison said: "I'm just glad to be back. Its been difficult for me to have to sit out this past year."

Broadhurst slips in Dutch Open

PAUL BROADHURST quickly surrendered his place at the top of the KLM Dutch Open leaderboard by dropping a shot on the first hole of his second round at Hilversum.

However, former Scottish amateur champion Steven O'Hara made great strides.

The 24-year-old former Walker Cup player reached the turn in 32 and was four under for the tournament with three holes to play. …
