Following is a list of arrests and crimes reported by Beaches-area police departments:


A man reported April 18 that he was missing a shotgun and a rifle from his home in the 1900 block of Jordan Street.

A man told police April 21 that someone entered his bedroom at a home in the 400 block of Skate Road and stole a computer tower, two video game consoles, two video games and assorted CDs.

A man reported May 4 that someone stole $250 and a money clip worth $450 from his home in the 100 block of Beach Cottage Lane.

A man reported May 5 that a man grabbed him by the neck during an altercation at McDonald's, 435 Atlantic Blvd., a few days earlier. The victim said he saw the man again on May 4 in Neptune Beach and had another confrontation. The victim pulled out a knife to stop the man from making any more threats.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy Thursday and charged him with aggravated domestic battery his 17-year-old brother was stabbed in the left arm with a pair of scissors following an argument at their home in the 2000 block of Park Street.

Police arrested a man Saturday and charged him with fleeing a law enforcement officer and drunken driving after an officer said he saw the man driving 60 mph in a 25-mph zone in the 400 block of Plaza Drive.

The man struck a tree at the end of Plaza Drive then backed up and continued driving until he stopped a few blocks away, police said.


A 56-year-old man was arrested in Phoenix, Ariz., Saturday and charged with attempted murder in a Feb. 17 attack on his estranged wife in a parking lot near Latham Plaza on First Street South.

The woman was stabbed three times in the February incident.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on marijuana and criminal mischief charges Sunday after he reportedly damaged his hotel room at 305 First St. N. by sticking incense in the ceiling near the door.

Police were called to a disturbance at the Best Western and found that the incense, which was used to try to mask the drug's scent, had burned and damaged the ceiling.

A man reported Thursday that his 1995 Oldsmobile was stolen from the gas pump at 300 Beach Blvd. The man told police that his car was stolen while he went inside to pay for his gas. He had left the keys in the ignition.

A 23-year-old Jacksonville Beach man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault Saturday after he reportedly threatened to push his former girlfriend down the stairs at Joe's Crab Shack at 6 Beach Blvd. and to stab her new boyfriend with a knife.

A woman reported Friday that a man snatched her cell phone while she was outside a hotel in the 100 block of First Street North and jumped into the passenger seat of an Acura and took off. …
