Me and My Wardrobe

Article excerpt

Lucy Bowden 18, from Alnwick, Northumberland, has just finished her A-levels at the town's Duchess Community High School.

As if that wasn't enough, she has also been working on her own website launch, www.fishingforeveryone.com, which is due to go online in August. It's going to take the angling world by storm, particularly for women, as it's a site offering ladies' angling gear.

"There is a very limited selection of clothing on the market which is suitable for women, which is why I am designing my own range," says Lucy.

She has been fishing for 12 years, has represented the English ladies fly fishing team and co-runs a female angling club at her school. She recently attended the Jack Charlton Disabled Angling competition in Bantry in Ireland.

Lucy lives at home with mum Margaret, dad Chris, and younger sister April.

Favourite evening outfit?

My evening dress is a black fish tail I bought from Coast for a Holly Ball at school last year. I also have a long turquoise dress I like to wear from Warehouse.

Typical weekend wear?

I go fishing most weekends so I wear my fishing clothing, but sometimes I go out shopping and I'll dress more smartly. …
