Public Safety; Clay Man, Teen Arrested, Accused of Breaking into Homes, Stealing Van

Two Clay County residents were arrested Friday, after police said they were found hiding in a trailer home in Keystone Heights.

Detectives had been looking for Adam Hall, 23, and a juvenile since June 28. Both are charged with two counts of burglary and petit theft and one count each of criminal mischief with monetary damage over $1,000 and grand theft. They are accused of breaking into homes on Furman Avenue and Lilly Lake Road in Keystone Heights and of taking a van from the Walker Avenue Citgo. The van later was abandoned in Putnam County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Hall is from Keystone Heights. Records show the 17-year-old is from Starke.

Hall's bond was set at $25,000. The teen's bond had not yet been determined.
