Piano Man Faces the Music as It's Revealed He's a Fraud; Hoaxer from Germany Can Barely Play

THE Piano Man, the mystery man who turned up in a soaking wet suit and tie on a beach in Kent, has finally broken his silence, it was claimed today.

Four months after doctors first started puzzling over his identity, he is said to have told staff he was a German who came to Britain by Eurostar, and had been trying to kill himself when police picked him up near Sheerness in April.

Now, according to the Daily Mirror, he has flown home to Germany. It is claimed he is a hoaxer who used to work with mentally ill patients, copying some of their characteristics to fool doctors. Health chiefs are said to be considering suing him after thousands of pounds were spent on his treatment.
