It's double trouble for Bernadette Schott this September as her two youngest children start at Levendale Primary School in Yarm.

Four-year-old Harrison is starting in reception class and in just two weeks' time brother Daniel will follow him into the nursery school - just one day after his third birthday.

They follow big sister Rebecca, 6, who has pledged to mum she will look out for both her brothers.

"When I saw Harrison in his little uniform I did think, he's not a little boy any more. You realise he's not going to be at home with you so much," says the 37-year-old from Ingleby Barwick.

"The last five weeks have just flown by and I've realised that we're going to be restricted to school holidays in the future and won't be able to be spontaneous any more ( not until they're 16, in fact!"

Bernadette, who had a high pressure career as a buyer for a telecom company, was due to start a new job this week, but has decided to turn it down so she can spend some precious hours with her youngest before he starts reception next year. …
