Blotto Lotto Woman Is Spared Jail

Lotto wastrel Wendy Graham today evaded jail after attacking two women in a bar during a St Valentine's Day row.

Graham, 26, who blew pounds 1m given to her by stepfather Bob Frazer when he won the Lottery, assaulted the women in Whitley Bay after a row with her ex-boyfriend blew up.

At North Tyneside magistrates' Court she was given an 18-month community order after admitting two charges of assault.

She was also told to pay compensation to her two victims in instalments after blowing her share of Mr Frazer's pounds 4.2m jackpot on drugs, drink and gambling.

Lynn Gray, prosecuting, said: "Deborah Weddell felt an enormous blow to the back of her head and turned to see Graham. Miss Weddell was disorientated by the blow and turned to see her friend, Natasha Gibson, who had scratches on her forehead. Natasha said Graham had also attacked her.

"She told police she'd been out in Whitley Bay with her boyfriend and had been drinking sambuca and vodka Red Bull and could not remember much but remembered fighting. …
