Accepting: blood glucose meters and test strips for those with diabetes through Tuesday, Sept. 20.

THE UNIFIED PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS OF NORTH FLORIDA (Gator Fire Council), comprised of firefighters and paramedics from Alachua, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Levy, Marion and Putnam counties)

Accepting clothing on hangers, personal hygiene products, infant care items and non-perishable food items.

Collection will continue through Saturday. Firefighters will deliver the items to the hurricane-hit region on Monday, Sept. 19.

Clay County collection locations are:

Keystone Heights Volunteer Fire Dept., 120 Flamingo St., Keystone Heights, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily

Orange Park Fire Station, 331 Stowe Ave, Orange Park, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily

Green Cove Springs City Hall, 321 Walnut St., Green Cove Springs, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays

Firefighters also plan to set up a collection site at the Food Lion at 2570 County Road 220, (220 at College Drive) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

RESIDENTS OF BROOKHAVEN, MISS., AND THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

Tractor-trailer at Garden Ridge, Regency Square, 201 Monument Road, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday only.

Accepting non-perishable food, water, diapers, canned good, flip flops, clothing and medical supplies.

Donations will go to the Red Cross at their temporary site in Brookhaven.
