After seeing the prices for the UEFA game it just shows how out of touch MFC are with their fans.

Just 12,000 to 16,000 at most will be the crowd for the Dnipro game and every fan knows it.

No discount for season ticket holders; no discount or incentive for buying tickets for both games; worst of all pounds 10 for kids!

Once again the ground will be two-thirds empty.

At least drop the price for kids to pounds 2 or pounds 3 and fill those empty seats with the club's future fans.

Get into the real world Boro - wake up and look at the empty seats instead of burying your heads in the sand!

I DIDN'T believe for one minute that Boro would see sense and realistically reduce prices for the two, highly unattractive, home fixtures in the UEFA Cup group stage.

The best the fans could hope for was pounds 20 for adults, pounds 10 concessions, so it will be a half empty stadium again and Messrs Gibson, Fordy and McClaren will be moaning about the lack of support once more.

Come on Boro, show a bit of common sense by dramatically reducing prices and fill the stadium.

Surely it would have been worth forking out a few extra bob to keep him here.

With Stewy Downing injured, McClaren doesn't know where to turn to solve his problem position on the left side.

By my reckoning, McClaren has played four different players in the position in the last four games and still hasn't found the answer.

Two of them were left-backs, nuff said there, while the others were Szilard Nemeth (a striker, even if he isn't a very good one), and Adam Johnson.

I know Adam is just a lad but isn't he the obvious choice?

After all, he's left footed, he plays on the left wing, and he has pace. …
