Mum Clashes with Tickets Agency over Pounds 247

A new mum is battling to get her money back from a premium-price ticket agency after paying pounds 247 to see U2.

Rachael [corr] Hall, 28, bought two tickets for a concert by Irish rockers U2 in June, through independent agency getmetickets.net on the internet.

The site owners were under fire last week for asking pounds 377 for a pounds 45 ticket to see Sir Cliff Richard at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena next year.

Ms Hall, of New Rodley Road, Stocksfield, Northumberland, paid for the tickets on her credit card.

But in the weeks before the Manchester concert Ms Hall, who was close to the delivery date of her son Euan ( now four months old ( feared it would not be safe to go and asked for a refund.

She says getmetickets owner Michael Rangos refused, so she decided to give the tickets to two friends. But she says the tickets never arrived. …
