They manage more than 150 upmarket apartments and houses both in Newcastle and on the Costa del Sol. They've been friends for 10 years and set up their business three years ago.

Terri: "I start my day in PJs and wellies to walk the dogs, but spend the rest of my time, even at weekends, in smart, classic, well-cut clothes in brown, aubergine, chocolate and black. Trainers? No chance. They should never be seen outside the gym."

Angela: "Classically cut, simple clothes in black, olive and earthy tones, sometimes lifted with a flash of turquoise. Terri and I have been known to go out and buy the same thing because we have such similar tastes."

What do you wear for work?

Terri: "We always wear a smart suit or a black dress. We also have a uniform dress for our female staff which is beautifully cut and very elegant. It's crucial in this job to be smartly turned out."

Favourite evening outfit?

Terri: "A black Gucci dress from Cruise in silk jersey. It's low cut with a keyhole detail, it's easy to accessorise and it always looks beautiful."

Angela: "A beautiful Louis Vuitton two-tone beige and baby pink crepe dress in chiffon with a very low back with pearl buttons down to the bum and shoe string straps. I spend a lot of time in Spain and love to wear it there."

Typical weekend wear?

Terri: "Smart jeans with beautiful boots, shirt and jacket. I love James jeans which I buy at Harvey Nichols. …
