Cannon and Ball Fired into the Celebrity Jungle Camp

CANNON and Ball were sneaked into the I'm A Celebrity jungle today, unknown to the rest of the contestants.

The veteran duo, who had been widely tipped to enter the camp, had been kept in hiding by the show's producers.

The live television feed was suspended while the operation took place, so no footage could be aired until they were safely in place.

Tommy Cannon, 67, and Bobby Ball, 61, pictured below, are not the first surprise entries on the programme. Last year's celebrities were joined by comic Vic Reeves, whose wife Nancy Sorrell was already in the jungle.

But the comedy double act may be disappointed by the state of the camp after a downpour soaked the beds. The torrential rain upset David Dickinson so much that he demanded to be taken to a hotel.

The Bargain Hunt presenter stormed into the Bush Telegraph and complained: "People are wet and demoralised.

They've got a hard job to do. Can't you see it p***ing down? …
