WHEN Norman the dog's owner took him to the vet with an ear infection, she didn't plan to have him castrated. The eight-year-old Bedlington terrier was mixed up with another dog called Norman at The Grange Hospital in County Durham. His furious owner, Janet Miller, said of the cock-up: "He'll never be the same. He wanted to father puppies."


STUBBORN Heather Keast has finally agreed to marry boyfriend Paul Hughes after rejecting his proposals for 32 years. The 53-year-old said: "I didn't want to get married before I was ready."
