[pounds sterling]100,000 for sculpture return

A REWARD of up to [pounds sterling]100,000 is being offered for the safe return of the [pounds sterling]3 million bronze sculpture stolen from the Henry Moore Foundation. Moore's The Reclining Figure was taken from the courtyard at the foundation in Perry Green, Herts. Detective Superintendent Ken Bell said: "The scrap value of this statue is negligible compared with what it is worth to the foundation and beyond." Anyone with information should call 01992 533430.

Car park voted nation's best

AN East Anglian site "adorned with beautiful red brickwork" has been voted Britain's best car park.

The top accolade was awarded to St James car park in King's Lynn, Norfolk, in a survey run by AA Insurance. He said of the winner: "When I saw St James car park it was love at first sight." The runner-up was Liver Street car park in Liverpool, with Edinburgh Airport car park third. Little New Street in Holborn was voted the worst for losing your car. …
