TIM HENMAN will be looking for "more of the same" when he faces German Tommy Haas in the second round of the Qatar Open in Doha later today.

The British No1 began the year in fine style when beating third seed Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-4.

He will be up against another baseliner in Haas, who beat Stanislas Wawrinka in the first round.

The 31-year-old said: "I didn't give Richard too much time to settle at the back of the court and get into a rhythm.

"I felt I took most of my opportunities to get into the net, and that worked really well.

"It's going to be much the same against Tommy as he likes to try to dictate from the back of the court. I've got to try and make life uncomfortable for him and I think the best way for me to do that is to put him under pressure by getting to the net whenever possible. …
