Did anyone else do a double take when the Pro Bowl selections were announced?

A team like Miami -- 7-7 with no playoff potential -- gets three Pro Bowl selections, while the Jaguars -- 10-4 and riding high on postseason hopes -- get . . . one.

Heck, even the 4-10 Arizona Cardinals got two Pro Bowl roster spots.

I must admit, I blinked -- a few times -- when I saw the discrepancy.

But then I got to thinking. Did the hometown heroes actually get snubbed? Was there anyone truly worthy who was left off the list?

Not really. Maybe John Henderson and Mike Peterson should feel a little miffed.

But the rest of the Jaguars' lineup -- despite flashes of brilliance -- has performed sporadically at best. And some of the team's more consistent members have been plagued by injuries of late.

Considering all that, it seems the Jaguars are lucky to even have Marcus Stroud representing them in Hawaii.

That's right everybody -- Christmas is almost here. Less than 24 hours away. Almost time to dive into that pile of presents, stuff yourself full of Christmas goodies and relax for hours watching football (not that you needed Christmas as an excuse for that last one). And when you've had enough of the fam, it's time to escape to the theater to see the latest Hollywood has to offer.

In honor of that last tradition, we (thanks, Jason) came up with a few sporty twists for some of this season's holiday box office arrivals.
