Come to the Show; BOOK NOW, HOMES & PROPERTY

Article excerpt

THE countdown has started for Homes & Property Live, our own property exhibition taking place, once again, at the Business Design Centre, Islington from 7 to 9 April - just in time to kick-start your home buying. If you want a new home or an investment idea, do not miss this great event. Under one roof will be gathered developers, architects, estate agents, key-worker housing charities, legal eagles, surveyors, buy-to-let specialists and property-related firms. It is a chance to speak to the people who have the information you need.

Expert advice and a chance to win

Free interior-design consultations are available; budding designers can even win a [pounds sterling]15,000 scholarship sponsored by a leading design academy.

Mortgage advisers will be there to offer ways to save, as well as more competitive rates for a fresh start.

Our show builds on the authority Homes & Property brings to London every Wednesday. There will be daily seminars by experts and specialist Homes & Property writers, so you can learn about key property trends, investment hot spots and up-and-coming areas.

Keeping one step ahead

The Future of London Zone will help you get the capital's fast-changing landscape into perspective. Here, the London Development Agency will present major projects under way and those planned between now and the 2012 Olympics.

Leading developers are offering exclusive previews of new-build schemes.

This gives you an early opportunity to buy off-plan. Estate agents Currell and Copping Joyce are conducting tours of developments in north London, the City and Docklands. One such scheme is Radius, moments from the new Eurostar terminal at King's Cross, where a [pounds sterling]2 billion regeneration project has just been given the green light.

Without leaving the show you can look for a home outside London, a weekend cottage or holiday home abroad.

Free for key workers

Key workers such as teachers and nurses get free entry to the show. Come and see shared-ownership schemes for first-time buyers. In the Affordable Housing Zone, the latest government initiatives - such as [pounds sterling]100,000 Homebuy loans - will be explained. …
