Premiership Finale Will Show English Game's Strengths

IT'S back to business with the clubs this week and, despite our poor Six Nations, I believe the climax to the domestic season will show how much talent we have in this country and how England can mount a really strong challenge for the World Cup.

I maintain the issues that contributed to our three defeats can be easily rectified and for now, the focus of every England player is to win some silverware with their clubs. For Wasps, that means winning the Powergen Cup Final against Llanelli next month and then trying to make it four successive Guinness Premiership titles in a row.

I care passionately about England lifting the World Cup and I will do anything to help achieve that. My confidence has not been affected by missing the final match against Ireland, which saw the team put in an improved performance.

I have taken the decision on the chin and when you are not involved in a Test match, it reminds you about how much it means to be part of the England squad. …
