North Company Helps Airbus Make Headlines
Standing at 240ft long with twin decks and 555 seats, the Airbus A380 has been hailed as a 21st Century jetliner and is making news across the globe.

And with more than 159 orders already placed for the A380, Welwyn Components Ltd, of Bedlington, Northumberland, is set to play a major role in aviation history.The company has been at the forefront of electronic component manufacture in the UK for more than 70 years and exports to more than 40 countries.
It has also secured a contract to supply hybrid electronic components used in the construction of the latest edition to the Boeing family, the 787 Dreamliner ( a medium-sized, super efficient airplane.
